Hey everyone, Its time for me to post before i hit six weeks.
Alot has been going on since i last posted on here, most memorable was this last Sunday when i got to attend the Tony Awards for the second year in a row with the lovely Miss Liza Minnelli as my date. What i truly loved best from the show was the amazing opening number, which started with the boys from Billy Elliot spining chairs and lifting each other into the air with all the grace and finess of a Nureyev or a Baryshnikov, al while Elton John played the piano. More memorable moments in the opening number were Stockard Channing looking amazing in that brown feather dress, Dolly Parton and the cast of 9 to 5, and "Let The Sunshine In" by the amazing cast of Hair. (and the especially hot Gavin Creel *drools*).
Unfortunatley for me, I had to leave early, right afterr Liza's at the Palace won. No fabulous decadent parties for me, no no no. I had to make it home in time for Happy to drop off our son. he hates driving at night, especially over that Battery Brooklyn Tunnel. Right after I wrote my last update things kind of went for the worst. We've been seperated for over a month, hes moved into a nice little neighboorhood in Brooklyn called Carole Gardens. Bunch of cute brownstones, young gay and multi-cultural community. As for me, i've decided to keep our apartment in Manhattan (Robbie needs some stability, thank you Stephen and Jon for that great advice). It does feel a little big for just two of us. but whenever i try and explain that to any other New Yorker they always look offended. This city isn't known for spacious apartments. To kill the lonliness Ana, my bandmate is moving in with us, this will be good.
So the reason why I really couldnt stay at the Tony's is because I had to get home in time for my son to arrive, wash all of his dirty clothes from his week with his father, and then jam all of our shit into our lugage because we had a flight bright and early monday morning. We had to leave our place at 6:00 AM, go pick up Baby Daddy, and get to La Guardia by 7:00 AM. so that we could be on our 9:00 AM flight to London without delay. Luckily everything went super great, but as soon as i hit my seat i told Baby Daddy to look after Robbie, and i fell sound asleep. I got no sleep that night and i didnt wake ,except once to pee and feed Robz, until the plane started to land in Heathrow.
Our stay in London has been productive. Babydaddy and I have been invited here by our good friend Kylie to come work on her newest musical endeavors. Last night i pun at one of my favorite clubs here in London, which i will do one more before we leave Friday night. This has been the first weekend since the begining of may that Robz , Ana and i havent spent at our beachside summer rental in Southampton. We usually have our friends come up and barbeque with us. This weekend my parents were probaply sunbathing nude for all i know...I miss the beach though.
Ok, so i suppose three paragraphs shall suffice. Ill try to update more regularly. Best Wishes to all of you out there in mbp land
